1. Rearview Radar

Rearview radar is sold separately.

This is a rider-assistance feature only. It is designed to assist the rider by detecting certain vehicles / pedestrians / cyclists (“Hazard Object”) from behind in adjacent lanes or areas that may be difficult to see by visual check or mirrors (if applicable) alone. It is not intended to replace attentive riding / driving. Please always use your best judgment, visual checks and safe riding / driving practices. The feature may not detect all hazardous objects.

The feature does not actively control the product but only provides warnings to remind the rider of potential risks. The rider remains fully responsible for the safe operation of products at all times.

Per our controlled test, paved road, normal outside daylight, the product is at the speed of 3.1–28 mph, our feature’s accuracy is 97%. Speed, lights, hazardous objects, environment and other factors may reduce accuracy.

2. Direct-drive Motor Features

For proper and safe use of such features, please read instructions and warnings in user manual and/or App.

3. Traction Control System (TCS)

TCS is an assistive feature intended to help improve riding stability under certain conditions. It does not guarantee traction, stability, or safety. Riders must always exercise proper judgment, ride with caution, and remain responsible for safe operation of the eBike.

TCS is turned on by default. You can deactivate and activate it through the Segway Mobility App.

4. Hill Descent Control

Descent Control is an automatic speed-control function that activates when your bike detects a downhill gradient. Once engaged, the motor applies a reverse resistance to gradually reduce acceleration and maintain a steady speed on the descent. There is no on-screen or sound notification when this feature is active.

Activation: This feature is disabled by default and must be manually enabled in the App. Once enabled, it will activate automatically on any detected downhill gradient without additional prompting.

WARNING 1: When active, riders will experience a motor braking effect that engages without warning. Riders who have enabled this feature should anticipate automatic resistance during descents and should maintain a secure and stable riding posture at all times.

WARNING 2: As with any automatic intervention, there is a possibility that the braking effect may feel abrupt under certain conditions. Riders should always exercise caution and stay alert to the riding conditions, particularly at higher speeds or on steep descents.

WARNING 3: Deceleration performance may vary depending on degree of slopes, road conditions, age of product and battery levels.

5. Hill Start Assist

The Hill Start Assist feature is part of Segway Lab's experimental projects and may be updated or upgraded. Please stay informed through official notifications or announcements to avoid any inconvenience.

Hill Start Assist is expected to be available on May 10, 2026 through the user application. For updated information, please check the App notice.

Hill Start Assist is a motor-assisted hold function that keeps your bike stationary during brief mid-ride stops on inclines. It is intended for short pauses on a slope before restarting. It is not intended for parking or extended standstill.

Activation: This feature is disabled by default and must be manually enabled in the App. With the bike fully stationary, squeeze both brakes simultaneously and hold for 3 seconds. The motor engages to maintain position. An "H" symbol will appear on the display confirming the feature is active. During the final 15 seconds, a countdown will appear on the display and an audible alert will sound to indicate the feature is ending.

WARNING: This feature has been validated to hold position for up to 2 minutes and 17 seconds under the following conditions: slope of 8° or less, rider weight of 75 kg or under. Outside these parameters, hold duration will be reduced and the bike may be unable to maintain a stationary position. Riders should remain attentive and prepared to take manual control at all times, particularly on steeper slopes or with heavier loads.

6. Connectivity

Network and cloud-based services are free the first year and require a subscription thereafter on the Segway Mobility App.

7. Apple Find My

To use the Apple Find My app to locate this item, the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS is recommended. The Find Items app on Apple Watch requires the latest version of watchOS.
