Friction in a chain primarily occurs in three areas: between the chain pins and inner plates, between the pins and bushings, and at the contact surfaces between the inner and outer plates. Therefore, always apply the CHAINLUBE in three passes as described under “Application” to optimally lubricate all friction points.
